IPAD 2

This weekend my husband surprised me with an Ipad 2 for our anniversary next weekend / my birthday next month. I had been thinking about getting one for my birthday (after he got one for his in April). I'm so stoked. I can't believe I have one. Not only am I searching for the perfect apps I'm also looking for a perfect case. I'm loving these leather ones but I'm wondering how well leather protects.

ART SUPPLIES

Recently I've really enjoyed illustrations more than usual. So I thought I'd have some fun making an illustration of art supplies I use (and learn the pen tool more). I enjoyed it so much! I think I might want to make simular illustrations of other objects. Future project? We'll see...

HERBS

Last weekend we picked up a beautiful Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree for our place to make my amateur green thumb happy. My goal is to do everything to keep it alive. My next green thumb experiment... a little herb garden for our patio.

SCREEN PRINTING

I did some screen printing in a printmaking class last year and had so much fun with it. I've really enjoyed doing art that "gets your hands dirty." It's refreshing compared to only working on the computer.
