Merry Christmas

Sunday, December 25, 2011

Merry Christmas, friends.
Hope you're having a good holiday with your friends and family.

It's my first California Christmas, so unfortunately it doesn't look like this!

Who doesn't love this about Christmas? (I shouldn't even post my own picture with this beautiful ones!)

Favorite Things : #6 Stars

Thursday, December 22, 2011

Like most of my favorite Christmas things, this too involves paper - it's another reminder of how much I love it. We didn't have a star for the top of our tree so I decided I had to make one - and it matches the paper garland and gift wrap. The combination of the brown paper and the green are perfect.

Favorite Things : #5 Paper Goods

I had a blast designing and creating Christmas cards for both my parents and in-laws. It's fun how much  each person looks like themselves - even though it's just our face's and hair. Make sure to check out more images here.

Favorite Things : #4 Kraft Gift Wrap

My obsession with Kraft paper continues with gift wrapping! Adding a bit of gold makes this natural brown paper extra festive.

Loving all the not so perfect Christmas trees and their scraps.

Favorite Things : #2 Paper Garland

This favorite Christmas thing combines with one of my always favorite things : paper!

I made this paper garland by punching circles from kraft paper (with a scrapbooking tool) and fed the circles through my sewing machine in one long line. I think when Christmas is over, these little guys won't be put away like the rest of the decorations.
